본 연구는 패션디자인 분야의 캡스톤디자인 교과 모델 제시를 목적으로 하고 있다. 패션디자인은 실용 학문으로서 산업체에서 요구하는 인재를 양성할 수 있는 교과의 운영이 필수적 필요하다. 본 연구의 결과는 산업체 요구에 부합하는 실무형 인재를 양성할 수 있는 교과 모델을 제시할 수 있다는데 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 두 학기에 걸쳐 교육과정을 설계함으로서 연속적 교육을 통해 교육의 질을 높일 수 있었다. 둘째, 조별 과제 수행을 통해 학생들은 스스로 문제해결 능력을 높일 수 있었다. 셋째, 캡스톤디자인 교과를 통해 졸업작품을 제작함으로써 다른 교과에 비해 실무 업무 습득이 용이한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 목원대학교 섬유패션디자인학과의 캡스톤디자인 교과 운영 결과를 토대로 하고 있기 때문에 모든 학교의 패션디자인학과에 일반화시키는데는 그 한계가 있다. 따라서 이를 보안할 수 있는 후속연구가 이루어지기를 바란다.
Abstract
This study aims to present a capstone design subject model in the field of fashion design. Fashion design is a practical study, and it is essential to operate a subject that can cultivate talents required by industries. The results of this study are meaningful in that it is possible to present a subject model that can cultivate practical talent that meets the needs of the industry. As a result of this study, first, by designing the curriculum over two semesters, the quality of education could be improved through continuous education. Second, students were able to improve their problem-solving skills by themselves through group assignments. Third, it was found that it was easier to acquire practical work than other subjects by producing graduation works through the Capstone design subject. Since this study is based on the results of the Capstone Design curriculum of the Department of Textile Fashion Design at Mokwon University, there is a limit to generalizing it to the Department of Fashion Design in all schools. Therefore, it is hoped that follow-up research will be conducted to secure this.
