초록
Background: This study aimed to determine the effect of the convergence of problem-based learning and simulation practice on nursing students’ clinical reasoning skills, problem-solving skills, and learning achievement. Methods: The study subjects were 41 fourth-year nursing students who took a simulation-integrated practice course at the Department of Nursing, University B, located in Region B. Data were collected before and after the simulation lab class using a self-report questionnaire. Results: Problem-based learning and simulation practice integration education improved nursing students’ clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills and positively affected their learning achievement. A positive correlation existed between clinical reasoning skills, problem-solving skills, and learning achievement. Conclusions: These teaching methods can be important tools in nursing education to help students respond effectively to real clinical situations, solve problems confidently, and feel a high sense of achievement during the learning process. Future research should explore the development and application of these methods more comprehensively.
