Purpose: This study analyzes the relationship between visual display terminal syndrome (VDT) and sleep quality in nursing students in Korea. Methods: The study enrolled 141 nursing students from one university in Korea. The VDT syndrome and sleep quality levels were analyzed by structured questionnaires. The data were measured using t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation coefficient by SPSS 26.0 program. Results: A significant and positive correlation was obtained between visual display terminal syndrome and sleep quality. Conclusion: Our results indicate the necessity to prevent VDT syndrome and poor sleep quality in nursing students.
