" This study examines teachers’ perceptions of AI and digital competency enhancement, aiming to propose strategies for improving their professional development and support systems. An online survey was conducted with 750 elementary and secondary school teachers in A province, and the data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 26. The results indicate that teachers prioritize expanding AI and digital-related facilities in schools and providing diverse AI and digital learning resources, with variations based on school level and teaching experience. Teachers also emphasize the need for time allocation for lesson preparation and support for profes sional learning communities to effectively integrate AI and digital technologies. Expanding educational opportunities and operating professional learning communities were identified as key methods for developing teachers’ competencies. Effective AI and digital education policies should consider school-level and subject-area differences to ensure clear objectives and successful implementa tion. Collaboration among teachers is essential, highlighting the importance of activating professional learning communities for peer learning and reducing resistance to new technologies."
