최근 웹 보안 분야의 시큐어 코딩(Secure Coding)은 안전한 소프트웨어 개발의 핵심 요소로 자리 잡고 있다. 그러나 시큐어 코 딩은 복잡한 보안 개념 및 실습 과정의 어려움으로 인해 학습 진입 장벽이 높은 편이다. 본 연구는 AI 도구를 웹 보안 수업에서 교육적 도구로 활용했고, 특히 시큐어 코딩 학습에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 40명 학습자 그룹을 대상으로 실습 수업을 진행했고, 수업 결과 보안 취약점 식별, 안전한 코드 작성, 복잡한 보안 문제 해결 등 학습 효율성이 크게 향상되었음을 확인했 다. 또한, AI 도구의 실시간 피드백은 학습자의 이해도와 참여도를 높이는 데 기여한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 AI 도구를 활 용한 웹 보안 교육의 가능성을 탐구하고, 시큐어 코딩 교육 프로그램 설계 및 개발에 대한 기초 자료 제공에 의의를 갖는다.
Abstract
In recent years, secure coding in the field of web security has become a key component of secure software development. However, the barriers to learning secure coding are high due to the complexity of the security concepts and the difficulty of the hands-onlearning process. In this study, we investigate the use of AI tools as pedagogical tools in a web security class and specifically analysetheir impact on secure coding learning. A group of 40 learners were given a hands-on lesson, and the results showed that the learning efficiency of identifying security vulnerabilities, writing secure code, and solving complex security problems was significantlyimproved. In addition, the real-time feedback from the AI tool contributed to the learners’ understanding and engagement. Thisstudy explores the potential of web security education using AI tools and provides a basis for the design and development of securecoding education programs.
