중고등학교의 정보/컴퓨터 교사는 중학교와 일반계고등학교의 교육 내용과 특성화고등학교에서의 교육 내용이 교과 난이 도, 과목 수, 시수 등에서 판이하게 다르다. 특성화고등학교는 대학에 준하는 수준의 이론과 실습을 오랜 시간 동안 병행하여 공 부하고, 산업 현장의 요구에 맞게 최신 트렌드를 적용하여 교육하고, 졸업 후 바로 산업 현장에서 일할 수 있도록 교육하는 목적 을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 특성화고등학교에서 인공지능 프로그래밍을 수업할 수 있는 방안을 연구하였다. 그리하여 A도 OO시의 한 특성화고등학교에서 인공지능 프로그래밍 수업을 수강하는 29명의 학생을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였고 독립 표본 사전-사후 검사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과로는 연구 도구의 하위 요소인 사회 변화 인식, 유용성 인식, 흥미도에서 통계적으 로 유의미하게 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다. 특히 사회 변화 인식에서 높은 향상이 이루어졌는데, 그 이유는 특성화고등학교가 산업체의 요구에 빠르게 대응하는 것이라고 시사하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 특성화고등학교의 정보/컴퓨터 교과에 대한 연구의 지경을 넓힐 계기가 되길 기대한다.
Abstract
Information and computer teachers in middle and high schools differ significantly in the educational content offered in general education high schools versus specialized high schools in terms of subject difficulty, number of subjects, and hours of instruction. Specialized high schools focus on preparing students for industrial fields after graduation by providing both theoretical and practical knowledge, such as the application of modern trends and best practices, at a level equivalent to that of many universities. Accord ingly, this study investigated practical methods to teach artificial intelligence programming at specialized high schools. A survey was conducted with 29 students taking artificial intelligence programming classes at a specialized high school in City A, and an independent sample pre-post test was conducted. The results of the study showed a statistically significant improvement in social change awareness, usefulness awareness, and interest. In particular, there was a significant improvement in social change awareness, which suggested that specialized high schools may be better able than general education high schools to respond quickly to the needs of industries. We hope that this study will serve as an opportunity to expand the scope of research on information and computer related subjects in specialized high schools.
