환자안전활동에 관한 국내 연구동향 분석

A Study on Research Trends in Patient Safety Activities in Korea

초록

본 연구는 국내 환자안전활동 연구의 최신 동향을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 ‘KCI’, ‘RISS’, ‘KISTI’검색엔진을 사용하여 2014년 1월부터 2023년 12월까지 국내학술지에 게재된 환자안전활동 연구 논문 122편을 분석했다. 분석 결과, 환자안전활동 연구는 2016년 이후 증가 추세로 2022년~2023년 에 35편으로 최대치를 기록했다. 연구 대상은 종합병원과 상급종합병원의 간호사가 다수였고, 연구방법 은 98.4%가 양적연구이며, 73.8%가 IRB승인을 받았다. 연구 내용으로는 총 53개의 환자안전관련 변인이 사용되었고, 조직특성 변인 중 환자안전문화(25%), 직무특성 변인으로 직무스트레스(4.3%), 개인 특성 변인으로 환자안전관리 중요성 인식(6%)이 가장 많이 사용된 것으로 분석되었다. 환자안전활동에 가장 긍정적인 영향을 끼친 변인은 조직특성 변인 중 환자안전문화로 52편에서 확인되었다. 본 연구는 환자안전활동 연구의 향후 방향을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the trends in research on patient safety activities published in Korean journals from January 2014 to December 2023. Data collection was conducted using ‘KCI’, ‘RISS’, and ‘KISTI’ search engines, and total of 122 papers were analyzed. The result indicates that the number of papers on patient safety activities has increased since 2016, with 35 papers published in 2022-2023, the highest annual number. Most of the research was conducted on nurses working in general and tertiary general hospitals. Quantitative research accounted for 98.4% of the studies, and 73.8% of the papers received IRB approval. A total of 53 patient safety-related variables were identified. The most studied were patient safety culture (25%) in organizational characteristics, job stress(4.3%) in job characteristics, and recognition of the importance of patient safety management(6%) in personal characteristics. Patient safety culture was the factor most positively influencing patient safety activities, identified in 52 studies. This study is significant for analyzing research trends in patient safety activities and suggesting directions for future research.
