Cultural Impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution on Korea’s Trade Competitiveness

초록

The world is experiencing a dramatic change than ever before. It is a reality that the cycle of social change which can’t be solved by the existing paradigm. In this study, we analyze the competitiveness of new industrial items in the changing environment of global value chain culture and suggest the countermeasures against the 4th revolution for Korea's exporting companies. In order to analyze the national competitiveness, we used the Trade Specialization Index (TSI) and based on this, we will seek measures to strengthen Korea's competitiveness of the 4th revolution. This paper raises problems of export of new industry, and present evaluation and implications for national competitiveness.

Abstract
