Legal Considerations regarding the Protection of Vietnamese Cultural Heritage

The cultural heritage of one country has an important meaning in various fields such as politics, economy, society, culture, arts, and religion, together with the history of culture unique to that country, and it is particularly important for the development of society, have contributed. These cultural heritage may also play an important role in promoting understanding through establishing cultural identity as cultural content for future vision. However, cultural heritage requires a sense of balance between strategy and practice for conservation, and protection. Vietnam has many heritage. However, in order to protect this cultural heritage and have a vision for the future, it is necessary to have a strong awareness of cultural heritage and to grasp and understand the concept of laws and regulations and to enforce them. Based on this recognition, this study analyzed the cultural heritage law and its subordinate laws of the socialist nation-state, Vietnam, and presented how cultural heritage under the socialist system is regulated. Therefore, we discussed the basic policies and directions of cultural heritage, the role of administrative agencies, the current state of related laws, and the system and main contents of the Cultural Heritage Law. Vietnam's cultural heritage legislation like this has many implications for the Korean cultural heritage legislation.
