지적장애 자녀를 둔 어머니가 경험한 통합교육 과정의 경험과 개선방안에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 지적장애인의 통합교육이 그 수요자들에게 어떻게 경험되고 있는가에 대한 탐색을 통해 향후 특수교육의 발전방안에 필요한 기초자료를 제시하는데 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 지적장애 자녀의 주양육자로서 역할을 수행해온 어머니가 장애자녀의 통합교육에 대해 어떠한 경험을 하였는가에 대한 실제적인 경험에 접근하고자 질적 연구방법 중에서 생애사 연구방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 현재 성인 지적장애 자녀를 둔 어머니인 4명이었으며, 연구 참여자인 어머니들이 경험한 지적장애 자녀의 통합교육 과정은 ‘학령기 이전’, ‘학령기’, ‘학령기 이후’의 3단계로 나누어 분석하였다. 지적장애인 특수교육 정책의 실제 소비자로서의 역할을 수행해온 어머니들이 경험한 통합교육을 검증할 수 있는 실증적 연구의 지속적인 전개와 장애인의 통합적,구체적인 교육의 정책이 마련될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This goal of this study is to introduce the basic data on the desirable developmental plan after exploring how consumers have experienced the full inclusion for students with intellectual disabilities. This study shows the experience process of mothers who have raised children with intellectual disabilities for their full inclusion. Therefore, the biography qualitative method has used for this study. In the study, 4 mother's data of children with intellectual disabilities has been devided 3 categories, 'before school age period', 'school age period', and 'after school age period'. Therefore, mothers who have experienced the full inclusion for their children with intellectual disabilities continuous should be studied and be suggested the comprehensive and specific policies.
