과학기술 위험에 대한 기존 연구들은 전문가적 입장에서 위험 수용가능성을 비용/편익의 관점을 통한 이성적 판단에 근거한 연구가 대부분이다. 인간의 감성 측면에서 위험 수용가능성을 고려한 연구는 최근 그 중요성이 부각되고 있음에도 부족한 실정이다. 감성적 측면에서 위험 수용성을 고려한 논문들도 주로 심리학적 접근을 통한 위험 커뮤니케이션을 주제로 한 연구이다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제의식을 갖고 과학기술 위험의 객관적 위험성과 주관적 위험 인지의 차이에서 발생하는 위험관리의 한계성을 설명하는데 중점을 둔다. 감성지능을 적용하여 과학기술 위험 수용성의 변화 가능성을 검토하여 감성을 통한 과학기술 위험 수용의 동기화과정을 제시한다. 결과적으로 과학기술에 대한 일반인들의 긍정적 감성화를 조성하기 위해선 미디어의 역할이 매우 중요하며 과학기술에 대한 문화사업을 통해 일반인의 감성적 공유를 이끌어 내야 한다.
Abstract
Exsisting research about the risk of science & technology have been thinking the risk acceptability through cost/benefit point of view on professional point. A recent study, considering a risk acceptability in terms of human emotions, highlighting its importance and the fact that is lacking. Considering the emotional aspects from the risk of acceptability is primarily through a psychological approach to the topic of risk communication research. Important that the issue of risk acceptance is aware of how risk itself is no risk for the risk analysis, rather than rational judgment about whether the subjective and personal for that analysis. Applying the emotional intelligence, we can review the risk of science & technology and through the emotion, we suggest the synchronization process of risk acceptability in order to find a realistic alternative. As a result, in order to create a positive emotionalization the role of the media is very important and through cultural projects on science & technology leading to public’s emontional sharing.
