초록
The rain garden system is used to minimize, design and retain runoff according to the hydrologic cycle, which designates reducing runoff peak discharge rates and nonpoint source concentration. Also, it is an alternative to conventional urban BMP structures. The rain garden system can provide excellent pollutant removal and recharge for the first flush of stormwater runoff. Designed rain garden systems remove SS, metals, N and P. This paper indicates that rain garden system has a muti-objective benefits in apartment-housing complex. The experiments have been performed in lab-scale and the mesocosms have been designed. For simulation of rainwater runoff, syntheic water has been used. The synethetic water has been made based on runoff quality of Halla Apartment, City of Gangneung.
