수원화성박물관 소장 『北學議』의 원본성 검토

Abstract

Pak Je-ga(1750-1805)’s Bukageui (北學議, The discourse of learning the Qing Dynasty) is one of the most influential writings of the 19th century. Recently, a book known as the original version of the Bukageui was released. Accordingly, the need to examine whether the 『Bukhakui』 is the original was raised. To this end, this paper first looked at the compilation process of 『Bukhakui』 and various copies. In particular, it was confirmed that the Bukageui, published in the Sanhan chongseo (三韓叢書) compiled by Park Ji-won(1737-1805), conveys the early appearance of Bukageui. It was also confirmed that Park Ji-won's <a preface to the Bukageui>, which was published in the collection of the Suwon Hwaseong Museum, was his own handwriting. I also looked at several copies of 『Bukageui』, which are derived from the original Bukageui, which is housed in the Suwon Hwaseong Museum. Through this, I confirmed that Bukageui, owned by the Suwon Hwaseong Museum, was the original handwritten by Park Je-ga.
