지구화가 가속화되면서 전 지구적 노동력 이동이 본격화되고 이로써 문화간의 갈등과 교섭은 다양한 양상으로 진행되고 있다. 이 과정에서 경제 논리의 지배는 지속적으로 타자적 존재를 양산하면서 공동체적 윤리를 무너뜨리는 데 있어 주요 역할을 담당한다고 할 수 있다. 다문화 사회의 도래를 목격하면서도 우리 사회 안의 타자들을 적극적으로 공동체의 일원으로 받아들일 태세가 되어 있지 않은 현 상황 속에서 본 논문에서는 ‘상호관용’과 ‘상호보살핌’ 가치가 지속 가능한 공동체를 지탱해 갈 사회적 가치로서 확산 가능한지 점검해보았다. 이 논문에서는 인간관계를 중심으로 ‘보살핌’과 ‘관용’에 대한 철학적 성찰을 살펴보고 일방적으로 베푸는 방식이 아닌 쌍방간의 상호성을 중심으로 한 보살핌과 관용이 긴요하다는 점을 강조하고자 하였다. 특히 결혼이주여성들의 경우 우리 사회의 타자적 존재로서의 대표성을 중첩적인 타자성을 통해 담보하고 있다는 전제하에 이들을 중심으로 하여 한국 사회의 배타적인 문화에 대해 쌍방향으로 이루어지는 관용을 가정하면서 한국의 시민들과 상호보살핌을 실천할 수 있는 가능성을 타진해보는 것이 중요하다고 보았다. 이로써 상호관용과 상호보살핌이 지속 가능한 공동체를 굳건히 할 수 있는 사회적 가치라는 점을 논증할 수 있었고 다문화사회의 사회통합이 정책의 차원에서보다도 우선적으로 인간관계의 설정과 역할 수행에서 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.
Abstract
In the process of globalization, the cultural conflicts and their negotiations are appearing in various aspects. The logic of economy has been playing the dominant role in the production of social minority and the "others" on the global scale continuously. As the result, the ethics of community has been demolished. Although confronting with the rush of multicultural society, we are not ready to accept the others in our society as the regular members of the community actively. Regarding to this background, the values of "mutual tolerance" and "mutual caring" are examined theoretically and conceptually in this paper as the adequate social values which support and bear up the sustainable community, and furthermore can be disseminated. It is largely received that female marriage migrants are representative altered people in our society and the alterity of this group is multi-layered. On the base of this thesis, it is important to search the possibility for Korean citizen to practice the mutual tolerance and mutual caring with the migrants in the reciprocal action for each other. As the conclusion, it can be confirmed that the dissemination and spreading of the social values like mutual tolerance and mutual caring in the human relations are more efficient as the administrative policies for social integration in the multicultural society.
