현재의 한국교회가 당면한 위기상황을 종교개혁 직전의 로 마 가톨릭교회의 양상과 매우 유사하다고 평가한다. 교회 권력의 절대 화, 성직자들의 귀족계급화, 면죄부(돈)를 통한 구원의 수단화 그리고 복음과 신학의 왜곡의 현상은 단지 종교개혁 당시의 로마 가톨릭교회 의 문제만이 아니라 현재 한국의 개신교회와 개신교 목회자들이 안고 있는 문제점이기도 하다. 한국교회와 목회자들의 문제점에 대해 이미 유사한 비판과 자기 반성들이 여러 곳에서 제기되고 있다. 작년 평양대 각성운동100주년 기념성회에서 주제설교를 한 옥한흠 목사는 한국교 회의 전체적 회개를 선포했고 이미 한국교회는 자정력을 상실한 교회 라고 자아비판을 했다. 한국 개신교의 주류를 형성하고 있는 교단들이 대부분 개혁교회의 후손임에도 불구하고 스스로 자기갱신을 이룰 수 없는 교회는 더 이상 개혁교회2)라고 부를 수 없을 것이다. 필자는 이 글을 통해 한국교회 및 목회자의 문제점들을 소개한 후, 조직신학의 관점에서 이 문제점들을 극복할 수 있는 신학적 모델을 소 개하고자 한다. 여기서 제시하고자 하는 목회자에 대한 신학적 모델은 먼저 말씀론으로부터 시작하여 교회론적 관점과, 기독론적 관점, 그리고 직무론의 관점에서 본 분석에 이어 대안적 모델을 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
Current reformed church and her ministers in Korea are under a critical crisis. It’s main cause is due to the overwhelming influence of capitalistic interests upon the ecclesiastical body. The corollary embodies the forfeiture of the gospel along the demeaning leadership with the church dominated by prosperity idealism. In order to overcome the situation, the present paper proposes the following as a desirable model for the pastoral characters: 1) A pure and plain proclamation of God’s word at the ministerial pulpits. 2) Considering the theological concept of church as the ‘mother of saints’, an exercise of ‘maternal leadership’ is proposed in the place of the current ‘imperial leadership’ in the ecclesiastical activities. 3) A shift of self-understanding of ministers as from a privileged priest to a sacrificial offering. 4) A proper pastoral attitude of equality and cooperative office instead of hierarchical order in light of the doctrine of universal priesthood. The above proposals envisage a change in the current image of pastors as swayed and authoritarian into a more sound and biblically fit, with ends to ultimately renew and reform the Korean church.
