교대근무 경찰공무원의 수면장애, 피로 및 직무스트레스의 관계에 관한 연구

이 연구의 목적은 교대근무 경찰공무원을 대상으로 수면장애, 피로 및 직무스트레스와 이들 변수 간의 관계를 파악하기 위한 것이다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위하여 경기지방경찰청 소속의 경위 이하 계급의 교대근무 경찰공무원을 연구의 대상으로 하였다. 통계분석은 SPSS 15.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 평균과 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, 상관관계 분석을 하였다. 수면장애의 측정도구는 Veran and Snyder-Halpern(VSH) Sleep Scale, 피로의 측정도구는 Checklist Individual Strength(CIS), 직무스트레스의 측정도구는 Effort-Reward Imbalance(ERI)를 각각 경찰공무원의 특성에 맞게 수정ㆍ보완하여 활용하였다. 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 교대근무 경찰공무원의 수면장애는 총 7점 만점에 평균 4.5667점, 피로는 총 5점 만점에 평균 3.8692점, 직무스트레스는 총 5점 만점에 평균 3.8507점으로 비교적 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 교대근무 경찰공무원의 일반적 특성에 따른 수면장애는 연령, 학력, 근무지역, 근무연한, 피로는 근무지역, 직무스트레스는 성별, 학력, 근무지역에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 셋째, 교대근무 경찰공무원의 수면장애, 피로 및 직무스트레스의 상관관계는 수면장애와 피로는 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 피로와 직무스트레스도 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 하지만, 수면장애와 직무스트레스 사이에서는 유의미한 상관관계를 보이지 않았다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between sleep disorder, fatigue and job stress of police shift-workers. The sample included 198 police shift-workers in the Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency. The instruments used in the study were Multidimensional Fatigue Scale, Sleep disorder Scale and Job Stress Scale. The analyses used in this study were frequency test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation by usings SPSS 15.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, Polices who work in shifts has shown relatively high levels of sleep disturbances, fatigue and job stress. Second, significant statistical differences were found in sleep disturbance according to the groups of age, education, working area and working period. There also were statistically significant differences in fatigue according to working area. In addition, there were significant statistical differences in job stress according to sex, education and working area. Finally, fatigue was positively correlated with the sleep disorder while it was negatively correlated with job stress. However, there were no significant relationships between sleep disorder and job stress.
