바르트의 삼위일체 하나님의 계시와 인식 ― 바르트의 교의학적 위상

초록

본 연구 논문은 칼 바르트(Karl Barth, 1986-1968)의 교회 교의학(Kirchliche Dogmatik, II/2)을 중심으로 ‘하나님 인식론’의 구조적 특성을 분석해 내는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해서 필자는 우선 캔터버리의 안셀름(Amselm von Canterbury)의 Monologion과 Proslogion ‘신(神) 개념’과 ‘신 존재 증명’의 방식이 무엇인지 간략히 소개하고자한다. 왜냐하면 바르트는 안셀름의 책명 Proslogion, Fides Querens Intelletum(1077-78)와 동일한 책명으로 Fides Querens Intelletum (Zürich, 1931) 안셀름의 ‘신 존재 증명’에 대한 연구서를 내어 놓았기때문이다. 그리고 바르트가 안셀름의 ‘신 개념’을 받아들였는지를 검토하기 위해서 이다. 바르트의 “하나님 인식”(Kap. 5)은 “하나님의 현실”(Kap. 6)에 근거해 있다. 즉 그의 ‘하나님 인식’은 형이상학적 존재론에서 출발하지않고, ‘하나님의 현실성’ 곧 예수 그리스도를 통한 하나님의 계시에서출발한다. 따라서 ‘하나님의 현실’이 ‘온전’하듯이 그의 계시 또한 온전하다. 그러므로 예수 그리스도를 통하여 계시된 하나님의 계시를 온전히 이해하면 하나님을 인식할 수 있다는 결론이 이른다. 이러한 바르트의 인식론은, 한편으로는 안셀름의 ‘인식할 수 없는 초월자 하나님 개념’과 다른 한편, 중세 ‘교의학’의 ‘단일신론(monotheism)적 ‘신(神) 존재 증명’과 ‘신 인식’과 다르다. 그럼에도 불구하고 인간의 이성 하나님을 인식할 수 없는 것은 ‘하나님의 은폐성’ 과 인간이 하나님을 찾지 않기 때문이라고 바르트는 규정한다.

Abstract

This study aims to analysis and investigate the systematic and theological characteristic of the epistemology manifested in Church Dogmatic II/2 written by Karl Barth (19860-1968). For this will I research first of all the notion of God and the proof-method of the God’s being in the Monologion and Proslogion. Fides Quaerens Intellectum(1077-78) of Anselm von Canterbury. For Karl Barth had published a book under the same title with Anselm’s book: Fides Quaerens Intellectum(Zürich, 1931). Awareness of God’s being (CD II/2, Chapter 5) for Barth is based on the reality of God (Chapter 6) in this world. Hence the epistemology of Barth is to commence not with the metaphysical ontology, but with the reality of God in this world. In other word: with the revelation of God in Jesus Christ. And this revelation is perfect for the recognizing God, because His reality is perfect. Therefore Barth’s recognizing-system is different from the Anselm’s theory concerned God as the being “quo maius cogitari non potest” on one side and from the monotheistic theory in the middle age on the other side. Barth’s epistemology nevertheless involves the concealment of God from the reason of man and his negligence not to seek for God.
