Abstract
This thesis was designed to examine the social hatred problem and solution of migrant workers and multicultural families from an eccle- siological point of view. Korea is a country that values the harmony and integration of community members as a single ethnic group. Conversely, it is possible to get along with similar people, but there is a high possibility that ‘them’ or ‘their community’, which is different from ‘our community’, will explicitly or implicitly perform hateful acts. The basis of hatred is the distinction between ‘same group’ and ‘out-group’, and the mechanism of separation, discrimination, and exclusion. Therefore, in order to consider the problem of hatred and seek solutions, it is essential to consider language. In this regard, this thesis examines the social hatred problem of migrant workers and multicultural families and its solution from an ecclesiological point of view through the insights of language behavior theory.
