본 논문은 시각예술에서 폐쇄회로 인터페이스가 기술의 발전에 따라 어떻게 기술적, 심리적인 상호작용성을 끌어왔는지에 대하여 자화상 제작과정과 거울, 비디오아트, 공공스크린 등의 작품을 구성하는 매체를 중심으로 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 기존 시각예술의 인터페이스와 거울 혹은 카메라를 통해 재매개하는 구체적 작품들의 인터페이스를 비교하고, 매개체의 기술적 변화에 따른 관람객의 심리적 메타포를 분석한다. 그리고 전시공간에서 공공장소로 시각예술의 장소적 맥락이 확장되면서, 공공장소에서 폐쇄회로 인터페이스가 미디어파사드나 증강현실(augmented reality, AR) 플랫폼 등 공공미디어로써 어떠한 역할을 하고 있는지 고찰하고자 한다.
Abstract
This study examines how Closed Circuit Interface has generated psychologic interactivity focusing on the media that are the composing parts of artworks such as Self-portrait, video art and public screen. For this research, I will compare the interface of the existing visual artworks with the interface of particular works that attempts at remediation by mirror or camera. I will also analyze the audiences’ psychological metaphor according to the different technologies. And I will look deeper into the roles Closed Circuit Interface in public spaces plays in the context of Media-Facade or in augmented reality platform as the space expands from the exhibition space to public places.
