‘미시권력의 어포던스’에 따른 움직임과 감정의 수행적 변환

초록

연구자는 ‘미시권력의 어포던스(affordances of micropower)’를 제안함으로써 관객의 움직임과 감정의 수행적 변환을 논의하였다. 구체적으로, 미시권력의 어포던스가 관객의 ‘움직임-감정 피드백 고리(movement-emotion feedback loop)’를 형성한다고 주장하였고, 아울러 수행성의 미학에서의 감정 논의의 한계도 지적하였다. 이러한 주장을 펼치기 위해 미셸 푸코(Michell Foucault)와 제임스 깁슨(James Gibson)의 개념 그리고 행화주의적 감정론(enactive approach to emotions)을 중심으로 관련 논의를 진행하였다.

Abstract

In this study, I discussed the performative transformation of an audience’s movements and emotions by proposing “affordances of micro power.” Specifically, I argued that the affordances of micro power form a movement-emotion feedback loop. In addition, I also pointed out the limitations of performative aesthetics regarding emotions. To make this relevant argument, I examined concepts of Michel Foucault, James Gibson, and the enactive approach to emotions.
