본 연구는 파리 2월 혁명 당시 크로아티아 민족이 혁명을 어떻게 받아들였는지, 또한 혁명의 시기 동안 크로아티아인들에게 다가 선 혁명의 역사적 의미는 무엇이었는지 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 글의 구성을 보면 제 2장에서는 1848년 프랑스 2월 혁명의 의미와 동유럽에 미친 역사적 역할과 그 여파는 어떠했는지에 대한 분석이 이루어질 것이다. 제 3장에서는 19세기 민족주의 시대와 ‘파리 2월 혁명’을 맞이하던 크로아티아인들은 혁명을 바라보며 어떠한 현실적 선택을 택해야만 했는지에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 특히 이 장에서는 19세기 당시 독립을 꿈꾸던 크로아티아 민족주의의 특징들을 소개하며, 이를 상호 비교 설명해할 것이다. 제 4장에서는 ‘파리 2월 혁명’의 여파로 전개 된 헝가리 혁명(1848~1849) 과정 속에 크로아티아의 민족 지도자였던 옐라취치의 전략적 선택과 당시 크로아티아 민족의 현실적 대안이었던 자치권을 향한 투쟁의 모습들을 소개하고자 한다. 마지막으로 제 5장에서는 옐라취치와 당시 크로아티아의 선택에 대해 다시 한 번 되짚어보고, ‘파리 2월 혁명’이 크로아티아의 민족의식과 민족주의 발전에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 설명함으로써 결론을 마치고자 한다.
Abstract
In this paper, I analyze about the historical situation of Croatia and it's meaning during the French Revolution of 1848, especially with focused on activity of Ban Jelačić and his strategic choice. And I study, during that's time, how Croatian peoples accepted the French Revolution of 1848, and developed historical meaning of Revolution In the chapter II, I analyze the meaning of the French Revolution of 1848, and study historical role of revolution and it’s aftermath in Eastern Europe. In the chapter III, I study which selected Croatian peoples like as an realistic alternative plan during the era of the 19C’ Nationalism and the French Revolution of 1848. Especially, in this chapter, I introduce the characteristics of Croatian nationalism which dreamed national independence, and explain to compare each of them. In the chapter IV, I analyze the strategic choice of Ban Jelačić who was the national leader of Croatia, in the period of the Hungarian Revolution(1848~1849) which was originated from the French Revolution of 1848, and introduce a forms of struggle for national autonomy which was realistic alternative to the Croatian peoples. Finally, in the chapter V, I summarize once more how much had an effect the French Revolution of 1848 in the formation of Croatian national identity, and which meaning have this study about history of the Croatia.
