쑤퉁(蘇童）단편소설에 나타난 콤플렉스 양상에 대한 분석심리학적 고찰
A Psychoanalytical Study on Complex Aspects within Sutong’s Short Stories

The characters in some works of Su Tong's short story collection "Chuiyangliu" have a psychological complex, such as anxiety, laziness, anger, or depression. Complex expression varies individually. Persons with physical or mental disabilities suffer from humiliation and stigma directly or indirectly due to the complex. In this paper, the characters' identities in Su Tong's short stories were analyzed through the inner complex-shadow and 'mask theory' of Carl Jung, the founder of psychological analysis. People with complexes are not in disorder status. In fact, a complex is a specific phenomenon of life. Therefore, we should not deny or reject the complex, but psychologically accept it. A meaningful life can be acquired by 'conscious and unconscious dialogue and reconciliation for the complex', and rational judgment can be made by accumulative energy. Literature as a spiritual product should be based on profound psychological phenomena by searching for insight and knowledge. Therefore, the paper tries to analyze literary works with psychoanalysis, look for the meaning of life, and to explore the value of practical significance. Hopefully, this research could result in treatable effects for people in psychology
