This study has a priority in showing the outline of the main themes in how many points the writing and thinking of Blanchot and Benjamin are connected. Then we tried to find out what underlies these commonalities. To this end, we tried to go back to the early thoughts of Blanchot and Benjamin, and saw that there was a space of essential language there. And we thought that the best example of what the space of this language is is the reading of Hölderlin by Blanchot and Benjamin. They paid attention to the space of essential language or poetic language, not practical language, and the problems of the poet, God, and the people related to this space, and furthermore, the problem of the poetic community through reading Hölderlin.
