Abstract

This article provides a detailed discussion of the core tenets of Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought and China's strategy for major-country diplomacy with distinctive Chinese characteristics, along with their implementation pathways. Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought has opened a new chapter in China's foreign strategy, holding significant guiding implications particularly against the backdrop of global multipolarization and the transformation of the international order.Through the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought not only reflects China's international responsibilities as a global power but also offers innovative perspectives on global governance and international cooperation. Combining documentary analysis and case studies, this paper thoroughly explores how China promotes globalization and multilateralism through peaceful diplomacy and international collaboration on the global stage, thereby realizing its strategy of major-country diplomacy with distinctive Chinese characteristics.
