대학생 구직역량 척도(Career EMC Scale) 개발 및 타당화

초록

본 연구는 대학생들의 구직역량 강화를 위해 구직역량 척도(Career EMC Scale)를 개발하고, 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 689명을 대상으로 예비검사(165명)와 본검사(524명)를 총 2회에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 구직역량 척도는 ‘직업탐색(직업정보탐색, 직업이해)’ 요인, ‘직업동기(자기이해, 구직의도)’ 요인, ‘직업핵심기술(대인관계기술, 의사소통기술, 의사결정기술, 직업적응기술)’ 3요인 8개 하위 요인으로 구성되었다. 본 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 탐색적 요인분석 및 확인적 요인분석을 수행하였으며, 이를 토대로 구성된 구직역량 척도의 수렴 타당도를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 본 척도에서는 총 3개의 차원에서 8개의 하위 요인, 총 38개 문항으로 최종 선정되었다. 첫째, 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 8개 하위 요인(직업정보탐색, 직업이해, 자기이해, 구직의도, 대인관계기술, 의사소통기술, 의사결정기술, 직업적응기술)으로 구성되었으며, 요인별 신뢰도는 .674～.825로 나타났다. 둘째, 확인적 요인분석을 통해 구직역량 척도는 ‘직업탐색(직업정보탐색, 직업이해)’ 요인, ‘직업동기(자기이해, 구직의도)’ 요인, ‘직업핵심기술(대인관계기술, 의사소통기술, 의사결정기술, 직업적응기술)’ 3요인 8개 하위 요인으로 최종 확인되었으며, 구직역량 척도의 전체 신뢰도는 .902, 3요인의 신뢰도는 .788～.863으로 나타났다. 셋째, 수렴 타당도 검증을 통해 구직역량의 8개 하위 요인들은 자기주도학습, 자기효능감, 내재적 동기, 낙관주의와 유의미한 정적 상관을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구 결과를 통해 타당도가 입증된 구직역량 척도는 대학생들의 구직역량 진단 및 진로상담을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop the Career EMC Scale for university students. The scale was developed ‘career exploration (career information seeking, career understanding)’, ‘career motivation (self understanding, job seeking intention)’, ‘career core skills (interpersonal skill, communication skill, decision making skill, career adaptability skill)’ 3 factors and 8 sub-factors. Two independent samples were recruited to validate the reliability and validity of the scale. First, sample A(n=165) was used to generate the factors through exploratory analysis. It resulted in a scale of eight factors which contained ‘career information seeking’, ‘career adaptability’, ‘career understanding’, ‘interpersonal skill’, ‘self understanding’, ‘job seeking intention’, ‘decision making skill’, ‘communication skill’ dimensions. Second, confirmatory factor analysis of the scale using sample B(n=524) yielded three factors (career exploration, career motivation, career core skills) and eight sub-factors. Third, convergent validity was supported through correlations between the Career EMC Scale and students’ self-directed learning, self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, optimism through sample B.
