스포츠 선수들의 음주운전, 폭력, 승부조작 등의 문제점들이 발견됨에 따라 스포츠 선수들에 대한 스포츠윤리교육이 활성화되고 있으며, 자연스럽게 초, 중, 고등학교의 학생 선수들에게도 스포츠 윤리교육이 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은운동부 감독교사가 학생 선수들을 대상으로 하는 스포츠윤리 교육이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 그 과정을 탐색하는데 목적을두고 있다. 이를 위해 A도 B시에서 C고등학교에서 2022~2023년 2년간 운동부를 담당한 ‘나’를 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 자료 수집은 일지와 운동부 교육에서 사용된 2차 자료들을 수집하였으며, 자문화기술지 방법을 적용하여 연구 결과를 제시하였다. 연구 결과로 첫째, 스포츠윤리 교육의 준비 : 어쩌다보니 운동부 감독교사로서 ‘운동부 담당 교사가 되기까지’, ‘운동부 운영 준비 및 실천하기’ 둘째, 스포츠윤리 교육의 실천 : 해야 하는 스포츠윤리 교육으로서 ‘형식적 스포츠윤리 교육’, ‘변화 없는스포츠윤리 교육’, ‘학생들에게 미안한 스포츠 윤리교육’ 셋째, 스포츠윤리 교육의 경험 : 스포츠 윤리교육의 문제점과 대안 ‘누구도 관심 없는 스포츠윤리 교육’, ‘체계적 프로그램의 부족’으로 결과를 도출하였다. 이에 따라 논의로서 첫째, 효율적인 스포츠 윤리교육을 위한 정책적 방향 둘째, 형식적 교육 탈피를 위한 고민이라는 주제로 전개하였다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 현장에서 감독교사들의 학생 선수 윤리교육이 어떻게 이루어지는지를 살펴 봄으로서 앞으로 나아갈 스포츠 윤리교육에 대한 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
This study aimed to explore how athletic department supervisors provide sports ethics education to student athletes, in light of rising incidents of drunk driving, violence, and match-fixing in sports. For this purpose, ‘I’, who was in charge of the athletic department at C high school in B city for two years from 2022 to 2023, was selected as a research participant. Data were collected from diaries and secondary data used in athletic department education. The study results were presented using the descriptive method. The results were divided into three categories: preparation for sports ethics education: ‘becoming a teacher in charge of the athletic department’ and ‘preparing and practicing the operation of the athletic department’; practice of sports ethics education: ‘formal sports ethics education’, ‘sports ethics education without change’, and ‘sports ethics education that is sorry for students’; and experience of sports ethics education: problems and alternatives: ‘sports ethics education that no one is interested in’ and ‘lack of a systematic program’. The study discussed policy directions for efficient sports ethics education and concerns about breaking away from formal education. Directions for future sports ethics education were suggested by examining how supervisory teachers conduct ethics education for student athletes.
