菱洋 朴宗善 한시의 창작 방법과 미학

이 논문은 『菱洋詩集』을 대상으로 하여 朴宗善의 시세계를 고찰하였다. 그 시세계의 특징은 세 가지로 요약할 수 있다. 조선적인 정서를 담은 民謠風의 한시가 유행한 18세기 韓國漢詩史의 흐름에 부응하여 박종선은 古樂府의 정신을 빌면서도 당대 여성의 구체적인 삶을 때로는 낭만적인 기법으로 때로는 현실적인 기법으로 담았다는 점이 첫 번째 중요한 특징이다. 이와 함께 박종선은 중국 江西詩派의 창작방법을 원용하되 『堯山堂外紀』, 『傳燈錄』 등의 전적에 수록되어 있는 낯선 전고를 적극적으로 구사하였으며 특히 불교 어휘를 자주 사용하였다. 이에 따라 그의 시는 무척 험벽하다. 다만 『菱洋詩集』에는 자세한 주석이 달려 있어 낯선 시어나 전고의 이해에 큰 도움이 되거니와 당대 사회의 다양한 정보를 수록하고 있다는 점에서도 의미가 있다. 또 박종선은 조선이나 일본의 역사 등을 소재로 활용한 竹枝詞 스타일의 시를 즐겨 제작하였는데 역사와 풍속, 학술, 제도 등 구체적인 내용을 시의 본문과 주석에 담았다. 이러한 특징으로 인해 李德懋, 朴齊家, 徐理修, 金正喜 등 당대 중요 인물에 대한 중요한 정보도 그의 시에서 확인할 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper examines the poetic world of Park Jongseon(朴宗善), focusing on Neungyang-Shijip(菱洋詩集). His poetry includes three characteristics. As the trend of Korean poetries during the 18th century, His poetries based on the spirit of ancient Yuefu(古樂府), deal with the reality of contemporary women's life during the period with romantic and realistic techniques. Also, He uses the techniques of Jiangxi poetry(江西詩派) and frequently utilizes the unfamiliar precedents which are contained in Yaoshantang-waiji(堯山堂外紀) or Chuandeng-Lu(傳燈錄). Additionally, diverse Buddhist terms in his poetries make the pieces more difficult to understand. However, the poetry collection has detailed annotations that help the readers to comprehend missing ideas or thoughts of the poetries. The detailed annotations appear a lot, considering that his poetries include various information of the society then. The poetry style is based on materials about histories of Joseon and Japan which are explained by the annotations covering content such as history, customs and academic system. For those characteristics, significant information about personages such as Lee Deokmu(李德懋), Park Jaega(朴齊家), Seo Isu(徐理修), and Kim Jeonghee(金正喜) are also found in his poetries.
