공립유치원 교사 임용 후보자 선정 경쟁시험 출제 문항 분석을 통한 유아 교사 양성기관 교육과정과의 연계성 검토

임용시험과 교사 양성기관 교육과정의 연계성 및 연계의 필요성에 대한 논의는 끊임없이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구는 2013학년도부터 2016학년도까지 4년에 걸쳐 이루어진 임용시험 문항의 유형 및 형태, 출제 자료 등의 기초적인 분석을 토대로 동일 기간에 서울에 소재한 4년제 유아 교사 양성기관 1곳(이화여대 유아교육과)의 교육과정을 분석하여 임용시험과 교사 양성기관 교육과정의 연계성을 검토하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공립유 치원 교사 임용 후보자 선정 경쟁시험 출제 문항의 유형 및 내용은 어떠한가? 둘째, 공립유치원 교사 임용 후보자 선정 경쟁시험과 유치원 교사 양성기관 교육과정의 연계성은 어떠한가? 임용시험의 교직 논술 영역과 전공 교육과정 영역의 문항을 문항 유형, 문항 형태, 문항 출제 근거 등으로 분석한 결과 두 영역 모두 원리나 기준을 기술하는 형태의 문항이 가장 많이 출제되었으며 종합적인 사고를 요하는 문항보다 암기한 내용을 기술하는 형태로 출제된 것으로 분석되었다. 이화여대 유아교육과의 교육과정을 중심으로 유치원 교사 양성기관 교육과정을 분석한 결과 개설된 교과목은 교사자격 이수기준에 적합한 과목이 개설되고 있었으며 임용시험에서는 다양한 과목의 내용이 출제되고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 교사 양성기관 교육과정에 포함되지 않는 내용의 문항도 출제되고 있어 이와 같은 부분은 교사 양성기관 교육과정 구성에 반영될 필요가 있다고 보았다.
Abstract
There have been continuous discussions on connectivity and the necessity of connectivity between the public kindergarten teacher appointment examination and preservice education curriculum for early childhood teachers. This study, therefore, aims to evaluate this connectivity by analyzing the preservice education curriculum for early childhood teachers during the same period and comparing it with the type/form of questions and question data of public kindergarten teacher appointment examination during the four years of 2013 to 2016. The research questions of this study were as follows: First, what are the question type and contents of the public kindergarten teacher appointment examination? Second, how connected are the public kindergarten teacher appointment examination and preservice education curriculum for early childhood teachers? The question type, format, and evaluation criteria of the general education essay questions and the overall questions in major curriculum area of early childhood education were analyzed, and the results indicated that for both areas, the most frequent type of questions were about describing educational principles or standards. Rather than assessing comprehensive thinking, the questions focused on testing memorized knowledge. According to the analysis, the preservice education curriculum for early childhood teachers in the Department of Early Childhood Education of Ewha Womans University met the completion standard required for teachers and the questions appearing in the public kindergarten teacher appointment examination included questions of diverse subjects. However, certain questions were not included in preservice education curriculum for early childhood teachers, which should be reflected to the composition of preservice education curriculum for early childhood teachers.
