사회복지사들이 경험한 보수교육의 맥락에 관한 질적 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand the experience of social workers in continuing education. To achieve this, data were collected through focus-group interviews with social workers and analyzed by applying the context-pattern analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research approaches. As results, the social workers' satisfaction with the continuing education was not high, and the reason was found from the quality of instructors and limited topics. Continuing education is affected by the operating system, and is operated and experienced differently by the program and instructors. Participation in continuing education differed depending on the employee training system, human resources, organizational status, and work within the social welfare organization to which social workers belong, and the Social Welfare Act, the facility evaluation system, and local governments acted as support systems. Based on these results, guidelines to be considered when reinforcing the continuing education system for social workers were suggested.
