본 연구는 성인진입기 대학생의 감사성향이 진로의 선택 및 적응과 관련된 구인인진로결과기대를 예측하는지와, 두 변인 간 관계에서 성장지향성과 그릿의 이중매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 19~25세의 성인진입기 대학생 226명(남 118명, 여 108명)을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, Process macro 를 활용하여 모형을 검정하였다. 분석결과, 감사성향과 진로결과기대 간의 직접효과가 정적으로 유의하였으며, 이들 관계에서 성장지향성과 그릿의 이중매개효과가 유의하였다. 그러나 단순매개의 경우, 성장지향성을 통한 간접효과만이 유의하였다. 이는 감사성향으로 인한 긍정적 정서가 성장지향성과 그릿의 확장과구축을 통해 개인의 내적 자산을 구축하고, 나아가 진로에 대한 긍정적 기대감을형성할 수 있음을 의미한다. 덧붙여, 본 연구의 결과는 미래 직업에 대한 긍정적인 사고와 태도를 형성할 수 있는 개인적 특성들의 중요성을 환기하고 이를 성공적인 직업 선택 및 적응을 위한 진로상담이나 개입을 위한 프로그램에 통합하여활용할 수 있음을 시사한다.
Abstract
The study aims to examine the mediating effects of growth orientation and grit in the relationship between gratitude disposition and career outcome expectancy. To achieve this objective, 226 students completed self-reported questionnaires, and the SPSS PROCECSS macro program was used to analyze the mediating effects. The results showed that growth orientation plays a mediation role in the relationship between gratitude and career outcome expectancy. Nevertheless, the impact of grit as a mediator was not significant. Furthermore, the sequential mediating effect of growth orientation and grit was found to be statistically significant. These findings suggest that having a tendency towards gratitude can help individuals develop and enhance their personal internal resources by fostering growth orientation and grit. The findings underscore the significance of individual characteristics in modeling constructive career outlook, implying their use into career counseling for enhanced professional development.
