피아노 영재성의 개념과 계발 방향의 탐색

본 연구는 현대 사회의 동향에 힘입어 최근 관심이 대두되는 영재교육의 중요성을 고찰하며, 음악 영재를 위한 교수-학습 방법에 대하여 논의하고 피아노 영재성을 효과적으로 계발시킬 수 있는 방향을 제시하였다. 피아노 연주에 대한 잠재력과 피아노 연주를 위한 기술적, 해석적 능력을 포함하는 개념으로서의 피아노 영재성은 연구자들에 의해 1) 피아노에 대한 연주 집착력 2) 연주 기술 3) 피아노 작품 해석력의 하위 요소를 포함하는 개념으로서 정의되었다. 그러므로 피아노 영재성 계발의 방향을 탐색하려면 잠재적 음악능력과 음악성을 신장시키는데 중점을 두어야 한다. 특히 잠재적 음악능력의 계발을 위하여 현대의 음악 교수-학습방법이 피아노 교육에 선택적으로 적용 및 통합되어야 하며 일반적 음악교육 프로그램을 근간으로 한 적절히 수정되고 차별화된 교육과정이 마련되어야 한다. 음악성의 계발을 위하여 피아노 교육은 학습자의 발달과 심리를 고려한 통합지도를 해야 하며, 성취중심의 기능적 학습에서 탈피하여 다양한 패러다임을 수용해야 한다. 피아노 교육은 모든 음악예술에 응용되는 보편적인 학습이 되며 절대음감의 체득 및 시공간 추리력 향상에 도움을 줌은 물론, 재능 개발을 위한 꾸준한 노력은 삶의 가치까지 얻게 해준다. 이제 피아노 영재성 계발을 위한 교육은 영재아가 지닌 선천적인 음악 능력을 인정하고 독립된 학습자로서 성장하는데 역점을 두어야 한다. 현장에서는 잠재적 능력 및 음악성의 신장을 위한 현대의 인간중심적이고 창의적인 교수법의 방향을 모색하며 피아노 영재성의 계발에 힘쓸 필요가 있다.
Abstract
In this research, the consequence of the education for the gifted is studied, the teaching-learning methods for the music gifted are argued, and the effective methods for the development of piano giftedness is suggested. In this study, Piano giftedness as a concept which is consisted with the potential, technical, and interpretational ability for the piano play is defined as a concept which is consisted with the sub elements 1) performance commitment to piano 2) performance skill 3) interpretative ability of piano music. Therefore, the development of the potential music ability and musicality should be emphasized in the study of the development for the piano giftedness. Especially the piano education should be applied and combined in the modern teaching-learning method for the development of potential music ability selectively, and the corrected and distinct education courses are arranged according to the general music education program. The piano education for the musicality development has not only to consider the integrated guideline for the learner's development and mentality but also to accept various learning paradigm from the technical learning on the achievement. Thus the piano education can be the general education in all music art and it helps in obtaining the perfect pitch and the improving the space and time capability of reasoning. In conclusion, the education for the development of the piano giftedness should recognize the natural music ability which is gifted, and emphasize on the growth as an independent learner. For the education field the modern human-centered and creative teaching method should be groped. Furthermore, it is necessary to develop the piano giftedness.
