연구배경: 최근 라이프스타일은 인공지능, 사물인터넷, 정보통신과 같은 기술의 발달과 고령화저출산에 따른 가족구성의 변화 등 사회, 경제, 문화적 요인에 영향을 받아 점차 다양하게 변화하고 있다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 라이프스타일 변화에 따라 국내 아파트 모델하우스에 반영된 주거공간 디자인 특성을 분석해 봄으로써 사용자의 라이프스타일을 고려한 디자인 계획 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법: 연구를 위해 첫째, 주거의 개념적 정의와 라이프스타일에 대한 이론을 고찰하고 주거 공간 디자인에 있어 라이프스타일 변화의 의미를 살펴본다. 둘째, 라이프스타일, 주거공간을 중심으로 관련된 선행연구문헌 분석을 통해 라이프스타일의 변화를 반영한 주거공간의 디자인 특성 요인에 대한 키워드를 도출하였다. 셋째, 선행연구 분석으로 도출된 키워드를 토대로 국내 아파트 6곳의 모델하우스에 나타난 디자인 특성 요소를 방문 조사하여 분석하였다. 마지막으로 선행연구와 모델하우스 사례분석 결과를 종합하여 사용자의 라이프스타일을 고려한 주거공간 디자인 계획의 방향성과 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구결과: 이에 대한 연구 결과는 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 라이프스타일을 반영한 주거 공간은 최근 기술지향성, 감성지향성, 경험지향성, 환경지향성, 안전지향성으로 5개의 지향적 특성을 보인다. 국내 6곳의 모델하우스 사례분석 결과 기술지향과 감성지향성이 상대적으로 강하게 나타나며, 그 다음으로 경험지향성, 환경지향성, 안전지향성 순으로 높게 나타났다. 사용자 구성원의 니즈 충족과 가치 기준 변화에 따라 공동체 활동을 영위하거나 가변적으로 독립 공간을 구성하는 등 디자인 차별화가 강조되고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결론: 사용자의 라이프스타일 변화에 따른 가치 추구 변화에 따라 삶의 질적 향상 추구를 위한 주거공간 계획이 강조되어야 한다. 그 속에서 생활하게 될 사용자에 대한 깊은 이해와 그를 둘러싼 환경을 사용자의 입장에서 바라보았을 때 주거의 본질을 정확하게 반영한 공간 디자인을 구체화할 수 있다.
Abstract
Background: The lifestyle in recent days is changing diversely due to influence from not only the technology development such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) or Information Communication Technology (ICT) but also the social, economic and cultural factors including changes in family members by aging and low fertility. This study aims to suggest a directionality in design planning considering the lifestyle of users through analyzing the design characteristics of residential space that were reflected to the model houses of domestic apartments according to the changes in those lifestyles. Methods: First, this study elucidates the conceptual definition of residence and theories on lifestyle, afterwards, investigates the implication of lifestyle change in residential space design. Second, the keywords with regard to the design characteristic factors of residential space, which reflected lifestyle change in residential space design, were derived through analysis on the precedent research literature focusing on residential space. Third, this study conducted an investigation on the design characteristic factors that were exhibited in 6 model houses of domestic apartments via on-site visit based on the keywords derived from analysis on the precedent studies. Lastly, directionality and implication of the residential space design planning reflecting the lifestyle of users were derived by summing up both precedent studies and case analysis results of model houses. Result: The results of this study can be summarized as follows. The residential space reflecting a lifestyle shows the characteristics oriented to five different aspects such as technological orientation, emotional orientation, experiential orientation, environmental orientation and safety orientation. In case analysis results, the domestic 6 model houses intensively demonstrated technological orientation and emotional orientation compared to others, followed by experiential orientation, environmental orientation and safety orientation in order. Conclusion: It was possible to know that design differentiation is being emphasized such as engaging in the community activities or constituting a variable independent space according to the satisfaction of needs and change in value criterion of the user members. This implies that residential space plan should be emphasized for pursuing an improvement in quality of life according to the changes in value pursuit by lifestyle change of users. In this context, a space design reflecting the nature of residence accurately can be actualized when deeply understanding the users who will live in those places and watching the surrounding environment from the users’ point of view.
