초록
To derive the properties of PRO under the minimalist framework, Martin (1996) and Chomsky (2000, 2001) assume that PRO undergoes a movement from a subject of vP to that of infinitive, that is, a subject of Control T. In this paper, I suggest "No PRO-Movement Constraint Hypothesis", according to that PRO does not move to the subject position of Control T and PRO agrees in situ in order for its derivation to be converged, contra Chomsky and Martin. And I propose that Control T does not allow the EPP-feature unlike other finite clauses. And I'll present and analyze wanna-construction as an supporting evidence for my proposal.
