공동주택의 도로구조형식과 다년도 범죄발생통계와의 관계성에 관한 연구

본 연구는 다년도 범죄통계자료를 기본으로 하는 연구자의 지속연구이다. 이전 연구에서는 다년도 범죄발생통계, 공간구문론의 상관성, 거리의 활동성을 주제로 하였다. 본 연구는 공동주택의 도로구조형식에 따른 다년도 범죄발생통계와의 관계성을 분석하는데 목적을 갖는다. 국내 공동주택의 단지배치 구조에 따라 관통도로형구조와 막다른도로형구조의 두 가지로 구분하여 여기서 추출되어지는 결과를 이용하여 영역성과 거리의 활동성에 대한 중요도를 추측할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 연구대상은 범죄발생빈도 다발 지역을 경찰청 자료에 의거해 선정한 후, 연구대상 지역의 53개 공동주택단지(연구대상지역 44개소, 인접생활영향권 9개소)로 한다. 연구 결과 관통도로형구조에 의해 거리의 활동성이 강조되어지는 공동주택이 영역성이 강조되어지는 막다른도로형구조의 공동주택에 비해 강·절도 범죄발생이 적게 발생하였으며 성범죄 발생은 반대의 결과를 나타내고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design)의 부가원리인 활동성 강화가 강‧절도와의 관계성을, 기본원리인 영역성은 성범죄와의 관계성을 밀접하게 갖는 것을 나타낸다고 판단된다.
Abstract
This study is a series of study on multiyear crime data. The earlier work examined multiyear crime statistics, correlation of spatial syntax and activity of street as the theme. This study aims to analyze relationship between multi-year crime statistics and road structure form of apartment house. The importance of activity of distance and territoriality can be inferred using the results extracted from separation of road structure into through road structure and dead-end road structure depending on the layout structure of apartment houses in Korea. With regard to subject of study, the areas of frequent crimes were selected based on the data of the National Police Agency, and then 53 apartment house complexes in the area of study (44 places in areas of study and 9 places in neighborhood areas) were finally selected. As a result of study, robber and theft crime occurrence was lower in the apartment house where activity of street is emphasized with through road structure than in the apartment house where territoriality is emphasized with dead-end road structure, while the occurrence of sexual crime showed opposite results. Such result shows that additional principle of CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design), reinforcement of activity is closely related to robber and theft, and the basic principle, territoriality is closely related to sexual crime.
