This paper aims to show that the dynamics of speaker can influence language change. The Korean vowel change is related to the variation of speaker’s age and generation. Vowel variation occurs according to the number increase or decrease of the corresponding speaker of vowel variation on the phenomenon of surface-sound. This paper will confirm the progress of language change through the age - dependent variation of the speaker and show that these variations show the ongoing language change. For example, it shows that the changes in the direction of ‘ㅚ’ and ‘ㅟ’ in the Korean language, and / ㆍ / (as known as ‘area a’) in the dialect of the Jeju island are lost as the elderly decline. In other word, The direction of change of language can be predicted by the decrease of speaker. Finally, it will be showed the predictability of the language change by predicting the change of speakers’figure.
