Abstract

The major premise of the education for the creative writing of novel performed at the university is that it should involve any educational characteristics, and also meet to social and cultural needs. The meaning and way of intention in the education for creative writing of novel confirmed on this study are so basic and necessary, that effort to theorize in detail and schemes to practice is required. It is confirmed that the way of intention of education for the creative writing of novel, which is subdivided as characteristics of humanities, specialty and utility and is reviewed, have three factors with the aspect of mutual confrontation and complementation. From this aspect, the lecture room at the university instructing in creative writing of novel should accommodate positively the change of times in the learning method for teaching and to accommodate the new paradigm of society. Consequently, the focus on this study is on the utility and realization of ‘digital narrative’ such as the novel text, connection of information and environment, hypertext narrative in the process of creative writing of novel, multimedia narrative, and interactive narrative. This means that the re-conception of novel text being regarded as the common idea. Following this new method, adopting new methodology is crucial and overhauls of old idea necessary. The form of narrative discussion seems to be inappropriate in the viewpoint of the creative writing of traditional novel, but we, who have been living in the information-oriented environment, found it difficult to refuse the norm. With reference to this, the additional in-depth discussion is required and we have recognized that the research for practical learning model for teaching at the university lecture room is at this time, unfinished topic that needs to be discussed at later point.
