단국대 소장 연민문고 필사본의 자료적 가치

본 논문은 단국대학교에 소장된 연민문고의 필사본이 가진 자료적 가치를 검토하기 위해 작성되었다. 연민문고는 아직 자료 정리가 완료되지 않아 그 전모를 파악하기는 어려운 상황이다. 본고에서는 연민문고 필사본의 가치를 개략적이나마 평가하기 위해 연민문고에 포함된 연암 박지원, 초정 박제가, 다산 정약용 관련 필사본의 목록을 작성했으며, 연암 관련 자료 가운데 善本으로 판단되는 『映帶亭集』의 원문을 학계에 널리 보급된 박영철본 『연암집』과 꼼꼼하게 대조해 보았다. 본고에서는 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 1. 『영대정집』의 표지 제목과 서문은 박지원이 직접 필사한 것이다. 『영대정집』은 판심에 “燕岩山房”이라 인쇄된 私稿紙에 필사한 것으로 박지원 집안의 家藏本이다. 2. 『영대정집』의 서문은 새로 발견된 박지원의 글이다. 3. 필사본의 계열은 『映帶亭集』 坤本이 제일 먼저 만들어지고, 그 다음에 『映帶亭集』 乾本이 만들어졌으며, 이것이 自然經室本 『연암집』을 거쳐 朴榮喆本 『연암집』이 만들어졌다. 4. 『영대정집』과 박영철본 『燕巖集』의 원문은 차이가 있는데, 『영대정집』 본문의 행간에 추가로 기록되었던 것이 모두 사라졌고, 본문 끝에 있는 評語 중에도 누락된 것이 있다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 『영대정집』은 『연암집』의 저본 가운데 가장 앞선 시기에 작성된 것으로 판단되며, 『연암집』 定本을 작성할 때에 반드시 참고해야 하는 자료라고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper was written to research the value of Yeonmin-mungo handwritten book held in Dankook University. Yeonmin-mungo collection hasn’t arranged completely until now, it is impossible for me to give the entire picture of the collection. But I wanted to come to light its value roughly in this paper, so I made the catalogue of the Bak Ji-won, Bak Je-ga and Cheong Yag-yong’s handwritten book included in Yeonmin-mungo collection. And I compared minutely the text of Youngdaejeongjib with that of Bak Young–cheol version Yeonamjig. I estimated Youngdaejeongjib was the book of good quality, so I pick up the book among Yeonmin–mungo collection.23 In this paper, I could reach the conclusion as follows. 1.The title and preface of Youngdaejeongjib was written by Bak Ji-won himself. This book was written in the paper printed the character Yeonamsanbang(燕岩山房), the paper was used only by Bak Ji-won and his descendants. 2. The preface of Youngdaejeongjib is the Bak Ji-won’s prose discovered new. 3.At first, Youngdaejeongjib Gon(坤) version had been written, Youngdaejeongjib Geon(乾) version had been made on the basis of Youngdaejeongjib Gon(坤) version. Next, Jayeongyongsil verson Yeonamjig had been written, Bak Young-cheol version Yeonamjig was printed in type finally. 4. There is difference between Youngdaejeongjib text and Bak Young-cheol version Yeonamjig text. The records written between the lines of Youngdaejeongjib were disappeared completely, some of the comments written in the end of each prose was missed too. I think that Youngdaejeongjib was the fist version among the Yeonamjib scripts, if we would make the definitive version of Yeonamjib, we should consult the text of Youngdaejeongjib.
