『디지털한한대사전』의 표제어 구성에 대하여

Abstract

The institute of Asian Studies of Dankook University has been making 『Digital漢漢大辭典』 since the unification of the two dictionaries, 『韓國漢字語辭典』 published in 1996 with 4 books and 『漢韓大辭典』 published in 2008 with 15 books. The Grand Chinese Character Digital Dictionary will be able to overcome the limitation of the paper dictionary and increase the uses of the Chinese character dictionary remarkably. This dictionary would have not only common vocabularies but professional vocabularies as well such as systematic vocabularies, religious vocabularies. It will also include proper nouns such as names of people and places, names of plants and animals and minerals and will have a feature like an encyclopedia in reality as well as in name. And analyzing the different shaped letters and embodying the similar letters and substitutional meaning letters would be possible because this dictionary transformed all of the letter informations to Web fonts, Therefore it will broaden the approach for all of the users from professional researchers to common men of culture and is expected to play a role as a guide to succeed our cultural heritage which has been accumulated for a long time. According to the basic direction to make a dictionary that helps users to interpret the Chinese classics properly, only solid vocabularies which could be proved by the sources and illustrative sentences has been chosen as the head words in 『漢韓大辭典』 and 『韓國漢字語辭典』. Therefore in these two dictionaries the terms for Buddhist scripture translation and the modern Chinese characters were rarely included or included only a few even if there were. Considering of the impacts of the Buddhism to Chinese cultural areas and the use frequency of the modern Chinese in Chinese classics, it is desirable to put the Buddhist terms and modern Chinese for the construction of the head words of 『Digital漢漢大辭典』. And in the dictionary some of the new civilization vocabularies which has been used in the Chinese classics were included, but all of the new cultural vocabularies like those must be included in the Chinese classic literature published at the time of enlightenment.
