This paper focused on the Chinese foreign direct investment in natural resource sectors. Nowadays many Chinese enterprises take a lot of oil field in the all of the world, so it takes to be worried about sweeping clean the world resource. Investigating a pattern of Chinese overseas old field, we found two kinds of characteristics. First, China success to produce crude oil in existing oil fields, however which is paid much more than their values. Second, in the unconfirmed new oil fields, China has not drive a good result. The current volume of equity oil produced by Chinese firms abroad is still relatively modest. It is growing, but with Chinese oil demand growing annually at around 500,000 bpd in the next several years, it clearly will fall as a percentage share of overall Chinese imports. So, we conclude that Chinese investment to overseas resource revealed not efficiency like a manufacture sectors. Many Chinese state energy enterprises was supported financially by state owned bank and not hesitate inject fund to buy resource. It is a traditional characteristic of state owned enterprises which is going out to the overseas.
