This study aimed at developing a Green Convention Guideline suitable for Seoul in order for the city to secure the competitive edge of its MICE industry amid the low-carbon green growth paradigm. For this, the study used the Delphi Method to collect opinions several times from and reach a final agreement by 20 experts related to the convention industry, over 286 items from 7 categories drawn up based on prior literature. The two-time Delphi Methods brought out the final guideline over 74 items from a total of 7 categories. Drawing particular attention of consumers of the convention industry such as professional convention organizers to eco-friendly event operation and suggesting the policy direction where the MICE industry will go. The findings of this study have the meaning as academic materials to step toward raising the competitiveness of the convention industry in Seoul as well as Korea.
