본 연구는 대순사상 전문 학술지인『대순사상논총』에 게재된 논문을 대상으로 텍스트 마이닝과 키워드 네트워크 분석 기법을 활용하여 학문적 경향을 체계적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 Textom, UCINET6, NetDraw와 같은 분석 도구를 사용하여 주요 키워드의 빈도와 동시 출현 관계를 파악하고, 중심성 분석과 CONCOR 분석을 통해 키워드 간의 관계와 그룹화를 시각화하였다. 연구 결과, “종교”, “사상”, “대순”, “상생”과 같은 핵심 키워드들이『대순사상논총』에 나타난 대순사상의 이론적 기초와 실천적 가치를 형성하고 있으며, 이를 통해 대순사상이 현대 사회에서 종교적, 철학적, 사회적 역할을 다층적으로 수행하고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한『대순사상논총』에 발표된 논문들을 데이터 기반으로 분석하여 대순사상이 가진 핵심 메시지와 연구 동향을 보다 명확히 제시하였다. 기존의 질적 분석 방법론에 비해 텍스트 마이닝과 네트워크 분석 기법을 적용함으로써 대순사상 연구의 정량적 접근 가능성을 열었으며, 이를 통해 대순사상이 지닌 철학적, 종교적 메시지를 현대적으로 해석하고 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다. 특히, 상생과 해원과 같은 개념이 현대 사회의 갈등과 협력을 다루는 데 중요한 실천적 가치를 제공함을 확인하였다. 끝으로『대순사상논총』을 중심으로 연구를 진행했기 때문에, 대순사상의 실천적 사례나 대중적 수용 과정은 충분히 다루지 못했다는 한계를 지닌다. 향후 연구에서는 대순사상의 실제 실천적 사례와 다양한 관점을 포괄적으로 탐구하는 것이 필요하다. 또한, 대순사상의 현대적 활용 가능성을 높이기 위해 환경 철학, 사회적 협력 이론, 종교와 과학의 융합 등과 같은 다학문적 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study systematically analyzed academic trends in Daesoon Thought by employing text mining and keyword network analysis techniques. Using tools such as Textom, UCINET6, and NetDraw, the study examined the frequency and co-occurrence of key concepts, conducted centrality and CONCOR analyses, and visualized the relationships and groupings among keywords. The findings highlight that core keywords such as “religion,” “philosophy,” “Daesoon,” and “mutual beneficence” serve as the foundation of Daesoon Thought, illustrating its multidimensional roles in religion, philosophy, and society in modern contexts. By employing data-driven approaches, this study offers a clearer understanding of the core messages and research trends within Daesoon Thought. The application of text mining and network analysis techniques provides a quantitative perspective to the study of Daesoon Thought, enabling a modern interpretation and utilization of its philosophical and religious messages. Particularly, concepts like mutual beneficence and grievance resolution are shown to offer valuable practical insights for addressing conflicts and fostering cooperation in contemporary society. The study primarily focuses on academic papers, leaving practical applications and public reception of Daesoon Thought relatively unexplored. Future research should encompass a broader range of perspectives, including practical case studies. Additionally, interdisciplinary studies integrating environmental philosophy, theories of social cooperation, and the convergence of religion and science could further reveal the modern relevance and applicability of Daesoon Thought.
