The object of this study is to analyze problems of the existing urban village regeneration project and to suggest a new systematic way to overcome the problems. The Space Syntax analysis was conducted on the case study of Geonae Ecology Culture Village urban regeneration project. Results showed that most of the problems were caused by inappropriate location of the village route and improper amenities for residents and tourists. Thus, this study offers a new systematic way for more efficient use of village route and facility location by the use of Space Syntax axial analysis.
Abstract
