Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the structural and social factors of the neighborhood on the subjective health of children, and to analyze the effects of the two-level multilevel model with HLM 7.03 statistical program. This study utilized from the survey data of the "Children's Comprehensive Survey" in 2013 and the census data of the National Statistical Office, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare were used. As a result of the multilevel analysis, the neighborhood structural characteristics of poverty rate, residential instability, and proportion of foreign residents did not have a significant effect on the subjective health complaints of children. On the other hand, collective efficacy has a significant effect on lowering the subjective health complaints of the child. Based on these results, the community intervention strategy to improve the health of the child was discussed.
