이산(離散)의 비애와 전쟁 서사 - 김요섭의 - 『깊은밤 별들이 울리는 종』을 중심으로

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the aspects and perceptions of war based on Le San's experience for Kim Yo-seop and to expand the horizons of Vietnamese writer research through this. Until now, Vietnamese writer's studies have mostly focused on diaspora consciousnes. However, it is believed that it is necesary to understand the work of Vietnamese artists in depth. Based on this awarenes of the problem, this study focuses on reading the war narative produced by Vietnamese writer Kim Yo-seop as Le San-ja. As a result of the study, Kim Yo-seop's early works contain the los and longing for his hometown. What is noteworthy here is that war is the fundamental cause of the formation of such a subject. Despite targeting children's readers, the artist described the fierce batlefield as it is and painted a person who was physicaly and mentaly disabled by the harowing war. This is no diferent from war education, which informs children of the horors of war. In fact, since war education through war experienced people is no longer posible, it is posible through indirect education of war experienced people, that is, reading. In this respect, Kim Yo-seop's early works, set in liberation, divison, and the Korean War, function as historical historical records. In particular, it is also encouraging that Kim Yo-seop found twists and peace in children to show the horors of the war and not to recreate the tragedy of the war. It is true that Vietnamese artist's tendency to work has ben consitent with anti-communism and suces. This study is believed to provide an oportunity to understand Vietnamese writer and Le San-ja, Kim Yo-seop, away from the existing one-line understanding.
