초록
This study proposes the K-CulTour integrated model for Korean language education by examining the interconnections among K-Culture, the “Korean Language Globalization Strategy,” Hallyu content, Korean language instruction, and tourism. The number of international students in Korea exceeded 200,000 in 2024, with many motivated by K-pop, films, and dramas. Findings indicate that interest in learning Korean is positively linked to the intention to visit Korea, particularly in themes like “travel in Korea” and “traditional cuisine.” Programs combining language, culture, and tourism require strong pedagogical expertise and experiential learning. The K-CulTour model provides an effective framework for designing such integrated programs. It also serves as a valuable policy reference for tourism marketing and the development of international student management systems in Korean higher education.
