관광지의 사회심리적 수용력 초과가 지역주민의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향

본 연구를 통해 오버투어리즘, 투어리스티피케이션과 같은 사회적으로 논의하고 있는 관광의 문제점을 우도라는 대상지를 특정하여 사회·심리적 수용력과 지역주민의 삶의 질에 대한 인과관계를 알아보고자 노력하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구에 대한 결론을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우도의 지역주민들은 방문한 관광객에 대해 사회·심리적으로 혼잡을 지각할수록 경제 만족 및 거주 만족에 부정적인 영향을 받고 있었고, 데이터를 분석한 결과 ‘주민 혼잡지각이 낮을수록, 주민거주 만족이 높다’, ‘주민 혼잡지각이 높을수록 주민 경제 만족이 낮다’라는 결론을 도출할 수 있었다. 둘째, 우도의 지역주민들은 방문한 관광객에 대해 사회·심리적으로 불쾌지각을 느끼는 것과 경제 만족 및 거주 만족에 유의한 인과관계를 발견할 수 없었다. 이를 통해서 우도의 지역주민들은 관광객에 대해 혼잡함이나 불쾌감을 인지하고 있지만, 대체로 삶의 질을 평가하는 요소에 많은 영향을 받지는 않는 것으로 판단된다.
Abstract
ABSTRACT Through this study, we tried to find a causal relationship between social and psychological capacity and the quality of life of local residents by designating the subject of preferential treatment for the problems of tourism that are being discussed socially, such as over-tourism and tourism. This summarizes the conclusions of this study. First, local residents of Udo Island were negatively affected by economic and residential satisfaction as they perceived social and psychological congestion, and the analysis of the data led to the conclusion that 'the lower the resident congestion awareness, the higher the resident residence satisfaction level, and the higher the resident congestion awareness, the lower the resident's economic satisfaction level. Second, the local residents of Udo could not find any causal relationship between feeling socially and psychologically unpleasant about the visitors they visited and significant economic and residential satisfaction.
