산촌지역 경제 활성화를 위한 산림치유 적용방안

2012년 기준 산촌지역 임가소득은 도시근로자의 54.3%, 농가의 67.6%에 불과하며, 노동집약적인 1차산업 위주의 임업은 부가가치 창출에 한계를 갖고 있다. 한편 우리사회는 여가시간 증가, 삶의 질을 강조하는 생활 방식이 자리하게 되면서 도시에서 벗어나 산림에서 체험하고 힐링을 하기 위한 수요가 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 따라서 산림수요에 대응하여 기존에 1차 산업 위주의 임업 외에 부가가치를증대시킬 수 있도록 종합적인 정책마련이 필요하다. 이를 위한 하나의 방안으로 산림치유를 활용한 사업이 전개되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 산림치유를 이용한 산촌지역 경제 활성화 방안을 모색하고자산촌지역에서 행해지는 산림치유시설의 특징, 프로그램 내용 등을 인터넷 조사와 현지 방문, 전문가 인터뷰를 수행하였다. 이후 인터뷰한 원자료를 Strauss & Corbin(1998)의 근거이론방법을 적용하였으며NVivo11 프로그램을 활용하여 총 186개의 개념과 8개의 범주와 24개의 하위범주를 도출하였고, 산촌지역 경제 활성화를 위한 산림치유 적용 과정을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 산촌지역에 산림치유 적용방안을위한 정책 제언을 제시함으로써 향후 정량적 연구의 토대를 마련했다고 할 수 있으며, 산림치유마을 조성·운영정책을 추진할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The average income of forestry household was only 54.3% of urban workers’s and 67.6% offarms household’s income based on the data from statistics Korea in 2012. This indicates thatforestry, which is a labor-intensive primary industry, has the limitation for creating added value. On the other hand, the demands for forest healing and forest experiential program have beencontinuously increased with new lifestyle focusing on the quality of life and increased leisuretime. Therefore, it is necessary to establish comprehensive policies to increase added valueexcept forestry to respond forest demands. The project utilizing forest healing can be on ofsolutions to meet forest demands. Thus, this research intends to investigate an economicrevitalization plan for mountain villages with forest healing. The characteristics of forest healingfacilities and contents of forest healing programs were examined through internet searching,fields surveys, and expert interviews. Total 186 concepts, 8 categories, and 24 subcategorieswere derived from raw data of surveys. The application process of forest healing was alsoprovided to encourage local economy of mountain areas. This research offers applicationprocedure of the forest healing for regional economic vitalization in Mountain Villagesinterviews using grounded theory by Strauss and Corbin(1988) as well as NVio11. This research contributes to prepare the base of future quantitative studies by providing strategies andsuggestions for the application plans of forest healing programs. In addition, this research offersbasic data for the policies to establish and manage forest healing villages.
