다문화가정 중학생에 대한 반(反)편견 교육프로그램 구안

초록

본 연구는 최근 급격히 늘어 날 것으로 예상되는 다문화가정 중학생들의 학교생활에서의 어려움을 고찰하고, 이에 대비하여 학교현장에서 다문화가정 중학생에 대한 일반 학생들의 편견감소를 위한 교육프로그램을 구안하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 문헌연구를 통해 다문화 가정 자녀의 어려움을 고찰하고, 이에 근거하여 편견감소에 효과적인 반편견 교육의 영역, 목표, 하위목표 등을 살펴보았다. 프로그램 대상자의 요구를 확인하기 위하여 다문화 가정의 중학생이 포함된 학급의 중학생들을 대상으로 요구조사를 실시하였다. 문헌연구와 요구조사 결과를 바탕으로 프로그램의 각 회기를 구성할 회기별 목표를 선정하였으며 선정된 회기별 목표를 달성하는데 효과적인 다양한 활동들을 포함한 잠정적인 프로그램을 구안하였다. 프로그램 구안 과정의 이론적 근거 및 논리적 연결성, 프로그램의 목표 및 회기별 목표의 적절성, 현장적용가능성에 대한 전문가 검토를 통해 수정․보완한 본 프로그램을 일선 단위학교에서 활용한다면, 다문화가정 중학생에 대한 일반 학생들의 편견을 감소시키는데 실질적인 도움이 될 것이다.

Abstract

As the number of international marriages and migrant laborers is getting more and more in Korea, the number of the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic families is increasing. However, the children in the multi-cultural and multi- ethnic families are suffering from teasing and bullying because of different skin colors, different appearances, different attitudes and behaviors from Korean peers. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to construct the effective and available anti-bias program for the middle school students in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic families. To achieve this purpose, this study has been developed from reviewing theories, making a temporary program into validating the program to construct the final program. This anti-bias program is meaningful because it is the first program to reduce prejudice for multi-cultural and multi-ethnic middle school students. Although this anti-bias program has some limitations to help the unique difficulties of all students with various cultural and ethnic backgrounds, it was appreciated for applications in schools by professionals. So the findings of this study are expected to help the middle school students in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic families.
