고등학교 현장에서의 역량기반 교육과정-수업-평가 연계의 현실화 방안

Abstract

In the 21st century, the characteristics of competent persons have changed, and this has demanded changes in education as well. In fact, globally, education is being reformed to be competence-oriented. In Korea, too, the national curriculum was revised in 2015, and it suggests key competencies. It is required to reorganize the curriculum based on that, give lectures centered around students, and conduct process-based evaluation connected to the class consistently. But the research results have shown that in the actual field, there is lack of recognition and practice of connection between the curriculum, teaching-learning method, and evaluation. Particularly, in high schools suffering from more burdens for university entrance, such phenomena are observed more seriously. Accordingly, to reform our education successfully through connection between the curriculum, teaching-learning method, and evaluation in high school, this study aims to collect the opinions of teachers working in high schools to see why the curriculum, teaching-learning method, and evaluation are not connected properly and provide solutions for that. To attain the goal, this author conducted in-depth interviews to teachers working in high schools located in Seoul or Gyeonggi and analyzed the interview results using grounded theory. According to the results, to realize connection between the competence-based curriculum, teaching- learning method, and evaluation in high schools, it is needed to guarantee communication and sharing among subjects of education, analyze the curriculum and criteria for achievement, provide administrative support, obtain teachers’ voluntariness and will for practice, exhibit democratic leadership presenting vision, and make efforts to recover the essence of education.
