아버지의 의도적 통제, 인지적 자기조절, 정서조절곤란과 양육행동과의 구조적 관계

초록

본 연구는 아버지의 의도적 통제, 인지적 자기조절, 정서조절곤란과 양육행동 간의 구조적 관계를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도에 거주하는 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지 450명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 변인간의 직접효과와 관련하여, 아버지의 의도적 통제는 인지적 자기조절과 정서조절곤란 및 양육행동에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 인지적 자기조절은 양육행동에 정적인 영향을, 정서조절곤란은 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간접효과와 관련하여, 아버지의 의도적 통제는 인지적 자기조절력과 정서조절곤란을 매개로 양육행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 아버지의 양육행동에 대한 방안을 모색하고 후속연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine relationships among father’s effortful control, SCMS, DERS, and parenting behavior. For the purpose, data was collected from fathers of children of 4, 5, 6 years, who lived in Kyeonggi province(n=450). The data was analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling(SEM). Results revealed that first, father’s effortful control had a impact on the SCMS, DERS, and social parenting behavior except didactic parenting behavior. Second, fathers’ SCMS and DERS mediated the relationship between fathers’ effortful control and parenting behavior. The implications of these finding are discussed, expecially focusing on the ways to improve fathers’ parenting behavior.
